eCERT Oversight Committee

The eCERT® Oversight Committee is exclusively licensed for managing the membership pool that is ultimately matched up with MAVIS Units and supporting services. As an enhancement to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) the eCERT® Oversight Committee’s role is assuring the program is compliant with federal regulations, approving memberships, and authorizing memberships to be deployed.

The Committee is populated by members from the eCERT® Program Memberships and structured as an independent 501 (c)3 Non-Government Organization. In addition, the quorum of elected members is accompanied by non-voting subject matter experts from the eCERT® Program Service Centre, The Advantage Group, LLC, Nw and an Officer At Large from FEMA, who have a vested interest in enhancing the eCERT® Program into the existing federal CERT.

Currently, there is a provisional eCERT® Oversight Committee, and with over 268 million eligible adults in the United States its won’t be difficult to build a roster or fill the committee positions. Contact us today and start an eCERT® Program.
